The Wisdom Tooth Process

If your wisdom teeth have erupted through the gum line and are visible, Dr. Gaddam can likely remove them in-house. Using an instrument called an elevator, she’ll gently lift the wisdom teeth from their socket. Then, our team will remove them from the mouth with a pair of dental forceps and wiggle them free of any connective tissues. Before you leave, we’ll provide you with aftercare instructions to prevent complications like dry socket from occurring.
